What are we looking for?
As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side logic, ensuring seamless integration with frontend applications and optimised database performance. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable and efficient backend systems, create APIs, and solve complex technical challenges. This role is ideal for someone passionate about creating robust, high-performing backend solutions to support modern applications.
– Experience in backend development, with expertise in building robust and scalable applications.
– Technical Skills: Proficiency in backend technologies like Node.js, Python, or Java, and experience integrating with modern frontend frameworks such as React.
– Database Expertise: Strong knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases, including performance optimisation.
– API Development: Proven experience in designing and implementing RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
– Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to debug, optimise, and enhance backend systems.
– Proactive Approach: A self-driven professional with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
– Soft Skills: Excellent organisational and communication abilities to collaborate within a team.
– Language Proficiency: A good command of English is mandatory.
– Educational Background: A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
