Requirements:
- Graduated in computer engineering, computer science
- Minimum of 10 years of experience and at least 2 years of experience in the role of software product owner;
- Proven experience of participating in software development projects;
- High-level analytical skills;
- Complex problem-solving skills;
- Focus on customer satisfaction;
- Ability to coordinate activities in a project context;
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and multi-cultural environment;
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English;
- Motivated to actively learn and research new working methods and new technologies;
- Without egos and committed to the success of the team and company (be kind and ego-free);
Responsibilities
- Managing and visualizing the product backlog or the prioritized list of requirements for future product development;
- Changing the order of items in the product backlog according to the priorities, dependencies and decisions of the stakeholders;
- Being available to the development team at all times to answer any questions team members have regarding the customer’s needs and the customer’s views of how the team is implementing a product feature;
- Ensures user stories are “ready” for development to start work;
- Ensures each story has the correct acceptance criteria;
- Gathers, manages, and prioritizes the product backlog;
- Ensures close collaboration with the development team;
- Works closely with engineering and quality assurance to ensure the right customer problem is solved. This can involve sharing market research and competitive analysis with the team to best focus their efforts;
- Has technical product knowledge or specific domain expertise;
- Contributes to the work of the Product Manager as they define a product differentiation strategy;
- Define customer needs and the associated features to meet those needs;
- Advocates on behalf of the customer for the development team;
- Tracks progress towards the release of a product;
- Contribute to the definition of the product scope;
- Contribute to the product development plans;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements;
- Support software development manager and team lead in the plan of activities;
- Supervise all aspects of the product lifecycle development and maintenance;
- Collaborate in the performance evaluations and acceptance tests to the product;
- Continuous improvement of products;
- Actively collaborate with the CTO to determine the requirements and plans for the product;
- Continuous participation in the improvement of internal processes, teamwork and dependencies of other areas.
