We are currently offering an Office Manager and IT Administrator position at the Bruker Business Support Center (BSC), located in Porto, Portugal. Consider expanding your capabilities with the BSC and become an integral part of a continuously growing and dynamic team that delivers sustainable value. responsabilidades: The Office Manager provides a wide range of administrative support to the team working in the Shared Service Center. In close coordination with the global IT and Real Estate functions, he/she is the local point of contact making sure that IT and office equipment is set up and maintained, office space is assigned, office material is ordered and stocked.
- Manages the office space, including (temporary) office assignments
- Maintains the stock of office material and supplies
- Manages the budget for office administration, analyzing and comparing costs, handling the purchasing
- Coordinates external parties for facility management, security, maintenance
- Provides general support to employees and visitors
- Provides 1st level support for IT issues regarding: Office software, SAP, phones, printers, conferencing tools, etc.
- Sets up IT equipment for new colleagues
- Provides basic training on the IT equipment
- Performs other duties as directed by management
- Minimum of 3 years work experience providing daily administrative management for a global business support center
- Strong working knowledge of IT administration and system security
- Advanced organizational skills, open minded and receptive to change
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate professionally in English and with multiple parties (other languages a plus)
- Experience working and interacting with customers and technical staff
- Self-organized working style with ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong administrative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced interpersonal, customer response and service skills
