We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our IT team, focused on the development and maintenance of applications that support risk management activities such as regulatory stress testing and rating engines.
MAIN TASKS:
- Design and deliver high-quality software solutions, following best practices and clean code principles.
- Propose improvements and optimizations to existing systems and workflows.
- Gather, document , and analyze application requirements in an Agile environment.
- Apply strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills throughout the development lifecycle.
YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS :
- 6+ years of experience with Python development.
- Solid knowledge of SQL.
- Familiarity with Linux command-line tools.
- Good understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, Sonar, and XLDeploy.
- Ability to work in a distributed and multicultural environment
- Strong sense of ownership, autonomy, and organizational skills
- Proficient in English.
- On-site role based in Porto.
