About the role
This is a 12-month, fixed-term position.
As our Senior Key Account Manager for Portugal, reporting into our Iberian Head of Market, you will be shaping the future of Dyson’s presence on our third-party retail accounts, ensuring exceptional execution and standout sales growth. You will be setting a compelling strategic vision for your retailer and mapping out joint objectives that unlock transformative business results for both Dyson and our partners. Working at the heart of our commercial plans, you will be building a 360-degree business strategy that anticipates market shifts and ensures future-ready, profitable growth.
You will be driving collaboration across commercial, finance, operations, and group functions—making sure our plans are synchronised and tuned for maximum impact. You will be owning sales and profitability targets, forecasting trends, and meticulously managing promotional activity, all while acting as the architect of impeccable in-store and online brand execution.
You will be bringing powerful, inspiring customer proposals to life—delivering compelling presentations and engaging with senior commercial teams. You will be strengthening our relationships with key account stakeholders, ensuring joint business plans drive strong ROI, and facilitating regular business review sessions at the highest level.
In this pivotal role, you will be harnessing your influencing skills both internally and externally, aligning our organization to your account vision and working side by side with marketing, retail and supply chain teams. You’ll be playing a crucial part in sharing best practices and collaborating across our EMEA account management network. All the while, you will be upholding Dyson’s values and actively contributing to the ongoing success and identity of our Portugal and Iberia Sales community.
About you
- At least six years’ experience in Account Management, ideally within Consumer Electronics
- Proven success in high-performing sales teams
- A track record of senior-level account negotiations
- Strong experience in budget control and forecasting across multiple product lines
- Excellent commercial acumen and financial awareness
- Outstanding influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced (C1) verbal, written, and presentation skills in Portuguese, Spanish, and English
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong analytical abilities
- Collaborative team spirit, drive, and enthusiasm
