We are looking for an Amazing: Cobol developer
Seniority: Senior (5+ years)
Type of position: Hybrid model in Lisbon. Candidates need to be already living in Portugal!
The amazing you, will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Basic knowledge or experience with COBOL (either academic, personal projects, or internship experience).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Interest in legacy systems modernization and integrating COBOL with modern tech stacks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) to collaborate effectively with global teams.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience with modern programming languages like Java, Python, or C#.
- Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS, Azure) or containerization technologies like Docker.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for legacy system integration.
