The Warehouse Operator ensures efficient and safe execution of warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, and shipping products, while strictly following regulatory and safety guidelines. Works collaboratively to maintain inventory accuracy and support smooth logistics operations.
Receiving and Inspection:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments
- Inspect shipments for accuracy, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Document and report any discrepancies or damages to relevant stakeholders.
- Properly store products in designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform regular inventory counts
- Accurately and efficiently pick orders based on picking lists or instructions
- Prepare materials for delivery to the production lines and prepare all other materials in the warehouse for delivery to various departments
- Support the production lines – delivering materials and receiving finished goods
- Record and check the received production and the materials delivered to and returned from the production lines
- Securely and appropriately ack orders for shipment, ensuring compliance with packaging regulations.
- Label packages with required information, including product identifiers and warnings.
- Prepare and load shipments for delivery
- Follow GACP guidelines and maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
- Comply with all regulatory requirements governing the handling and storage of products.
- Participate in regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with internal and external standards
- Safely and effectively operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Follow appropiate safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment, preferably in the cannabis industry.
- Familiarity with GACP/GMP principles and regulations (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills
- Forklift certification (preferred)
