Microsoft Systems Administrator
Job Description
Location: Braga (Hybrid Working)
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, configure and maintain Microsoft-based systems and environments.
- Manage domains and services such as Active Directory, Office 365 and Exchange Online.
- Administer Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Diagnose and resolve network issues efficiently.
- Monitor and manage firewalls, mainly Check Point solutions.
- Contribute to infrastructure and systems-related projects.
- Analyse and resolve IT incidents across systems and networks.
- Ensure high levels of system availability, security and operational integrity.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (industry certifications are a plus).
- At least 3 years experience in a similar role, with hands-on expertise in:
- Active Directory and domain. administration
- Office 365 and Exchange Online.
- Microsoft SQL Server.
- Network troubleshooting.
- Check Point firewalls.
- Strong communication skills and good command of English.
- Flexible, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to work.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Eager to learn and take on new challenges.
- Highly organised, with strong analytical and time management abilities.
- Immediate availability is preferred.
