In this project you’ll contact with the European stock market area. Despite its development center being located in Porto and all administrative support in Lisbon, you will be part of a multicultural team that is spread across several European cities.
We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our team in Porto (hybrid model) .
Key responsibilities:
- Knowledge in Data Governance, Data Pipelines, Data quality, Data Products;
- Ability to design scalable and efficient data solutions on AWS, considering best practices for cloud architecture and infrastructure;
- Experience with relational databases (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, RedShift) and NoSQL databases;
- Experience with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow and AWS Step Functions for automating and managing data workflows;
- Knowledge of ETL tools and experience working with large volumes of data, with experience in messaging systems like Kafka;
- Knowledge in Apache Spark is a plus;
- Ability to connect with other tech teams, across development, solution architecture, quality assurance, product management, Cloud & DevOps;
- Capable of evolving into a technical lead role, with excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;
- Ability to analyze requirements, define technical approaches, and propose innovative solutions to complex problems;
- Fluent in English.
