WORKPLACE: Lisbon (Hybrid) ROLE:- Design, development and maintenance of applications for clients in the retail sector;
- Ensuring reliability, scalability and security throughout the development process;
- Collaborating with clients and internal teams to develop the ideal technical solution;
- Maintaining quality standards through a structured approach and the application of modern development methods (unit tests, code reviews, code metrics and continuous integration);
- Documentation of architecture, code and good practices for knowledge sharing.
- University degree in Information Technology or similar;
- Minimum of 1 year's experience as a Java Developer;
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Java Developer;
- Professional experience in Java development and Spring Boot framework;
- Proficiency with Maven and Git for version control and dependency management;
- Solid knowledge of relational and/or non-relational databases;
- Knowledge of backend architecture;
- Understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns;
- Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is valued;
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD (optional);
- Knowledge of Elastic Search and Kafka is valued;
- Fluency in Portuguese and English;
- Good communication and teamwork skills;
- Good analytical, problem-solving and attention to detail skills;
- A sense of responsibility, proactivity and autonomy.
