This could be the perfect challenge if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years in defect management roles, with a strong focus on multi-platform environments.
- Proficient in Jira (custom workflows, dashboards, advanced reporting, and optimization).
- Experience with defect reporting, root cause analysis (RCA), and process improvement tools.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience managing defects across Set-Top Boxes (STB), SmartTVs, Mobile, and Web applications (highly desirable).
- Ability to analyze large defect datasets and transform them into actionable quality insights.
- Experience in defining, optimizing, and scaling defect management processes to meet high-quality assurance standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks and drive root cause resolutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions between technical teams, business stakeholders, and external clients.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Certifications: ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
