JOB PURPOSE
We are looking for a senior marketing leader to take ownership of our marketing strategy, positioning RONIN as a leader in the market research industry. This role is pivotal in shaping our brand presence, optimising digital channels, and driving lead generation. You will take responsibility for the marketing strategy, coordinating a Marketing Executive, manage major projects, and work alongside with key senior stakeholders across the business to deliver the marketing strategy.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategy & Planning : Develop, own, and implement the marketing strategy for RONIN, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Project Leadership : Act as project owner for marketing projects, focusing on priorities in 2025 and developing business as usual activities. You will receive support from the Marketing Executive and our sister company Reading Room on delivery.
- Marketing Channel Development : develop RONIN’s business as usual activities across channels, in line with the strategy. Including social media (LinkedIn, Meta), web, email marketing (using integrated CRM Zoho), paid media, content and events.
- Campaign Management : Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, working closely with the Sales team to generate leads and drive conversion.
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Partner with the Managing Director, Regional Directors, Sales, Client Services, Research, and Project Management teams to align marketing efforts with business goals.
- Content & Thought Leadership : Create compelling content that positions RONIN as an industry leader, including whitepapers, case studies, and insights.
- Performance & Analytics : Track and measure marketing performance, providing data-driven insights to optimise future activities.
- Team Leadership : Manage and mentor a Marketing Executive, ensuring effective execution of key marketing initiatives.
- Events : manage the delivery (and sometimes attend) events in the UK and abroad. Including international & national market research conferences, partner events (including roundtables) and organisation of new RONIN-led events such as digital webinars.
What will the first 6-12 months look like?
This new role will focus on establishing a ‘best practice’ for marketing activities at RONIN, overseeing the introduction of ‘business as usual’ standards and delivery of major marketing projects. Key projects identified in 2025 include:
- website overhaul (design, content, user experience) to enhance brand positioning and lead generation.
- introducing email marketing campaigns, leveraging CRM and automation to engage prospective, existing and lapsed and clients effectively.
- Develop a marketing campaign to promote our internal market research platform RONINEdge.
There will also be exciting future marketing projects including international website translation, development of regional strategies for our international offices
